Bring the problem. We’ll help you find the direction.

Construction marketing problems are rarely solved by another generic tactic.

  • Are we positioning our company the right way?
  • Why are we still competing on price?
  • Should we rebrand?
  • How should marketing support a new market or service line?
  • Is our marketing plan focused on the right priorities?
  • Are we spending money in the right places?
  • How should we differentiate from competitors that all look and sound the same?
  • Does this agency recommendation actually make sense?
  • How should we market an acquisition or new brand?
  • What should our internal marketing team focus on next?

CMO Office Hours gives you 90 focused minutes to work through questions like these with someone who has spent decades marketing construction and A/E/C companies.

You’re not buying another marketing deliverable. You’re buying experienced judgment about what to do next.

The goal is not to leave with a polished report; the goal is to leave with better direction.

Experienced marketing judgment, without the big commitment

Many construction companies already have people who can execute.

They have a marketing director, coordinator, agency, business development team, or outside partners capable of doing the work. What they may not have is a senior marketing leader helping determine which work matters most.

What happens during Office Hours?

This is a working session, not a presentation.

We’ll usually spend the first 10–15 minutes understanding your company, market, goals, challenges, and what prompted you to schedule the meeting.

From there, we work.

We may map out a rough strategy, challenge an assumption, review something on screen, identify priorities, develop ideas, or dig deeper until we understand the real marketing problem.

There is no predetermined agenda because your company does not have the same problem as every other contractor. That is the point.

What’s included in Office Hours

Your $500 Office Hours session includes:

  • 90 minutes of focused CMO-level advisory time.
  • Virtual meeting with up to three participants from the same company.
  • Discussion of one company, including its divisions or subbrands.
  • Meeting notes and any working documents created during the session.
  • Reasonable follow-up questions by email to clarify what we discussed.

If a follow-up question turns into a new strategic issue, we may recommend scheduling another Office Hours session.

What’s not included

CMO Office Hours is not intended for technical implementation or detailed technical audits like CRM configuration, technical SEO or HTML review, software setup, and in-depth market research.

We will absolutely discuss the strategy behind CRM, SEO, websites, digital marketing, and other tools. We simply stay focused on what you should do and why, rather than spending your advisory time clicking through software settings.

How to get the most from your 90 minutes

You do not need to prepare a  presentation. It helps to come ready to explain:

  • What your company does and who you serve.
  • What you are trying to accomplish.
  • What prompted you to schedule the session.
  • What you have already tried.
  • What marketing resources you currently have.
  • The most important thing you want to figure out during our time together.

If there are websites, proposals, marketing plans, campaigns, dashboards, competitors, or other materials you want to discuss, simply have them ready to share on screen.

You might meet with us now to work through positioning, return in several months to review a marketing plan, and come back later when your company enters a new market.

You do not need weekly consulting to benefit from experienced marketing judgment. Sometimes 90 focused minutes is enough to get moving again.
